Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Software Developer II to join their team in Kansas City. You will develop and maintain internally facing business applications, automating workflows, and providing insights from historical data.

The role focuses on usability, effectiveness, and adherence to technical standards while solving complex problems and mentoring newer developers. Utilize cutting-edge technologies to improve tools employees use daily and ensure high-quality performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Developer certifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, full-stack development and UI/UX preferred.
• Ability to solve problems and think quickly and critically.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects efficiently and stay organized.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Asp.NET with C#.
• JavaScript (JQuery legacy, React/Redux/TypeScript new).
• Modern CSS/HTML; experience with less/sass/postcss is a plus.
• SQL (Microsoft SQL Server;Reporting Services a plus).
• Must follow Henderson standards for programming, design, and documentation.

• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to streamline processes.
• Research new languages and designs to improve software.
