UAB Medicine is seeking a Software Developer-ENT to maintain and enhance existing software for third party customers. You will assist in coding, testing, and debugging, and write programs per specifications from senior staff or analysts. A focus on security and HIPAA/FERPA training is required.

The role offers hybrid work with day shifts, located at the University campus. A associate degree in Information Systems or related field and 2+ years of software development experience are required;

Qualificações

• Associate's degree in Information Systems or a related field and two (2) years of related experience required.
• Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
• Experience related to position: software development, coding, web development, mobile development.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain existing software products for third party customers.
• Assist in coding, testing, and debugging new software or enhancements for customer projects.
• Write programs according to specifications from higher level staff or business analysts.
• Foster an environment of heightened security following IT Security Policies and participate in HIPAA/FERPA training annually.
