Kforce's client, a large financial services organization in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Software Engineer IV for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting technology within the fraud space. Summary: This is a highly hands-on engineering role focused primarily on backend development, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture. You'll spend approximately 80-90% of your time in hands-on software development, working primarily with C# and .NET. Although the role includes full-stack development, the day-to-day work is heavily weighted toward the backend, with limited frontend development. You'll work as part of an Agile team alongside other experienced developers as well as offshore and junior team members. What You'll Do:
