Job summary

Kforce is seeking a software engineer in Kansas Leawood to design, develop, and maintain standard software components while participating in design reviews for new enhancements and maintenance work.

You will apply Agile methodologies, build cloud-based, microservice applications, and rely on solid algorithmic analysis and architectural patterns. You will mentor colleagues, write tests, and document internal architecture to support scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of software development, design, and database operations.
• Experience building cloud-based applications.
• Experience with modern micro-service applications and relevant tech stack.
• Experience with Agile Software development techniques including Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong knowledge of formal Algorithmic analysis and design.
• Strong technical skills, including architectural patterns and how/when to implement.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
