Job summary

Hadrian is hiring a Security Engineer to shape the security of our Factory-as-a-Service platform as we expand to external customers and partners. This full-stack role covers application code, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, identity, and OT environments on the factory floor.

You will join as a founding security team member, establishing standards and tools to scale security from the ground up, with opportunities to mentor others and drive practical, auditable security practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in security engineering, software engineering, or infra engineering with real hands-on ownership.
• Ability to write code and build guardrails, SDKs, CLIs, and CI/CD checks to enforce secure practices.
• Familiarity with agentic loops, LLM agents, and automation for security operations.
• Willingness to move fast, learn quickly, and balance risk with innovation.

Responsibilities

• Own security end-to-end across the stack, including cloud, containers, identity, and OT systems.
• Scale security through automated tooling and AI-driven checks to broaden coverage.
• Investigate unfamiliar systems, map risk, and design appropriate controls.
• Turn compliance into engineering by implementing practical ITAR/NIST controls.
• Respond to incidents and implement systemic fixes to prevent recurrence.
