Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to help build and maintain the digital infrastructure that supports our work. This role involves working with modern web technologies to create robust, scalable applications that facilitate our research initiatives and grant management processes.

• Ruby on Rails 8 for robust backend development
• Modern frontend architecture with Hotwire/Turbo, Stimulus, and View Components
• PostgreSQL and Redis for reliable data management
• Ansible and Docker containerization for consistent deployment environments
• Comprehensive testing suite using Minitest and Cypress
• Power BI for data visualization and reporting

Qualifications

• 6+ years Ruby on Rails full stack experience, with demonstrated proficiency in building complex web applications
• Experience implementing responsive, accessible user interfaces with modern frontend patterns
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and Redis caching strategies
• Advanced Git version control and collaborative development workflows
• Commitment to software engineering best practices: comprehensive testing, thorough code reviews, clear documentation
• Salesforce experience, particularly with API integration and data synchronization, is highly desirable
• Familiarity with Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports from application data
