Wyetech, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer 2 (SWE2) to join a small, dynamic team supporting the COUNTERPUNCH mission. The successful candidate will be a strong Full Stack Developer with significant Front End experience, especially ReactJS, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining mission-focused web apps and UIs in an Agile environment, translating wireframes, prototypes, and user stories into responsive, scalable interfaces for mission customers and

Qualifications

• Strong Full Stack development with emphasis on Front End technologies.
• UI development experience using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience building scalable server-side apps and microservices with Node.js/Express.js.
• Designing high-performance web-based graph visualizations for large datasets.
• Experience with ESLint/Jest for testing and code quality.
• Translating wireframes, mockups and user stories into reusable Front End code.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize user interfaces with Node.js, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Create web apps meeting mission requirements and translate requirements into interfaces.
• Collaborate with mission customers and government leadership to refine features.
• Ensure UI design aligns with design principles and reusable components.
• Test across approved browsers and debug UI/application issues.
• Improve performance and user experience; stay current with industry trends.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback; write documentation.
• Lead software-development activities when needed and coordinate installations.
