Job summary

HireHi ищет QA-инженера для проверки платежной платформы: функциональное и интеграционное тестирование бэкэнд-сервисов, проверка взаимодействий через Kafka, REST API и базы данных.

Кандидат должен владеть SQL, знать HTTP/JSON, иметь опыт автоматизации тестирования API и тестирования мобильных приложений (iOS/Android). Ожидается высокий уровень английского.

Job description

Описание:

The project develops and integrates a modern payment platform for secure, reliable payment processing and interaction with external systems. It includes scalable microservices and asynchronous transaction processing, with a focus on resilience, security, and high availability.

Задачи:

• Perform functional testing of payment services
• Test REST APIs and system integrations
• Verify interactions between microservices and external systems
• Test Kafka-based messaging and asynchronous event processing
• Validate payment transaction states, including success, decline, cancel, refund, pending, and error
• Verify transitions between payment states
• Use SQL to validate transaction processing results
• Cross-check API responses, Kafka events, and database records
• Develop and maintain automated API tests
• Test retry mechanisms, timeouts, duplicate requests, and error recovery scenarios
• Analyze logs and trace requests across services
• Perform regression testing
• Develop test scenarios and prepare test data
• Report, document, and track defects
• Verify bug fixes and assess regression risks
• Test iOS and Android mobile applications
• Analyze automated test results and contribute to maintaining the regression test suite

Требования:

• At least 3 years of commercial experience in functional and integration testing of backend systems
• Hands-on experience with REST API testing
• Experience in integration testing across multiple interconnected systems
• Hands-on experience testing synchronous and asynchronous integrations using Kafka
• Understanding of event-driven architecture principles
• Strong SQL skills and experience validating database data
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests for APIs and integrations; the programming language or framework is not essential
• Experience testing retries, timeouts, duplicate requests or events, integration failures, and recovery scenarios
• Understanding of HTTP, JSON, REST, and authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Experience analyzing logs and identifying root causes of defects in distributed systems
• Knowledge of test design techniques
• Experience validating data consistency across APIs, Kafka, and databases
• Intermediate English or above
• Будет плюсом: experience in banking, payment, or fintech projects, understanding of payment transaction lifecycles and payment system principles, test automation using Go, Python, Postman/Newman, REST Assured, or similar tools, testing iOS and Android mobile applications, understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
