At Wispr Flow, we're building voice intelligence that truly understands you. Our team of designers, AI researchers, and engineers is crafting voice interfaces that are both useful and ubiquitous, paving the way for a future where voice-first experiences replace screen-first technologies.

Our first product, Wispr Flow, has become the first consumer voice dictation platform to break the keyboard barrier: making people use voice more than their keyboards.

Wispr Flow is looking for an experienced product-focused engineer to take ownership of building new features and product lines that set a new standard for user experience. What you'll do

• Design for delight: Develop sleek and intuitive user interfaces for Wispr Flow’s evolving technologies & products
• Ship features end-to-end: Scope and lead technical projects from conception to deployment
• Own the product vision: Define and drive the product strategy across web and desktop, ensuring excellence in performance and usability
• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with the founders and designers to push the boundaries of what’s possible
• Build for scale: Architect fast, reliable, and scalable back-end systems that handle massive audiences effortlessly.

Who you are

• Knowledgeable about design patterns & strong intuition for UI / UX flows
• Take pride in getting the details right and operate from empathy
• Passionate about prototyping and creating accessible experiences
• Experience with cloud-based software development across the whole stack
• Have a voracious and intrinsic desire to learn and fill in missing skills
• Thrive in a customer-focused, tight-knit and cross-functional environment
• Expertise in Python and TypeScript / JavaScript (2+ years)
• Familiar with the quirks and qualities of CSS
• Love to build (we don’t have requirements for any academic degree)
• Experience in any of the following will make you stand out: Electron, Redux, Webpack, NextJS, Figma, AWS, FastAPI, CI/CD pipelines, ML deployments, async programming, low-level systems

$125,000 - $200,000 a year

The compensation band is an estimate and depends on experience. In addition to this base compensation, your offer will include stock options, benefits, and relocation reimbursements.
