Job summary

Apple Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the PMO who will design, build, and own scalable internal systems that support how the Ads Engineering organization plans, budgets, and operates.

You will translate complex business needs into robust technical solutions, own end-to-end delivery, and partner with finance, EPMs, and engineering to deliver dashboards and data pipelines that reveal spend, headcount, and portfolio health.

Qualifications

• Strong development skills with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Backend data-store knowledge with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Ability to independently translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications for program and portfolio management.
• Own technical solutions end-to-end, from architecture and implementation through deployment and ongoing improvement.
• Partner with EPMs, finance, and engineering teams to translate operational needs into scalable tools and workflows.
• Build dashboards and data pipelines that provide actionable insights into spend, staffing, and operational health.
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and improve the predictability and efficiency of planning and portfolio management.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies, including AI-powered capabilities, where they meaningfully improve internal tools and workflows.
