Job summary

Uncountable Engineering in New York is seeking experienced platform engineers who are passionate about user experience and scaling web applications. The role focuses on building the Uncountable Web Platform where scientists upload and analyze their experiments, with about half of the time dedicated to frontend work and half to backend development.

The current stack includes Flask (Python) and PostgreSQL on the backend, and React (TypeScript), Redux, and Sass on the frontend.

Qualifications

• Development experience and strong CS fundamentals are required.
• Interest in data-analysis driven UI/UX is essential.
• Familiarity with React, ES6, and modern Javascript practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Uncountable Web Platform where scientists upload and analyze their experiments.
• Split responsibilities roughly 50/50 between frontend and backend work.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver scalable and robust features.
