Job summary

Muvi Entertainment is seeking a hands-on Full-stack PHP Developer to join our growing Engineering team. You will design and build web applications using Laravel, roll out features, and optimize performance while collaborating closely with teammates.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of web app development, experience with PHP frameworks, front-end tech, MySQL, and REST APIs, plus a self-directed work ethic and clear communication. We offer a wide remote option and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years programming experience in developing web apps.
• Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc.).
• Frontend development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, JSON and XML.
• Understanding OOP principles.
• Experience in PHP-based CMS (WordPress, etc).
• Strong knowledge of database modelling and design, good understanding of MySQL.
• Strong experience in API design and REST based services.
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture would be a bonus.
• Have Self-directed work ethic with attention to detail and good communication skills.
