Magna in South Carolina is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy business applications across the stack. You will combine C#/.NET backend services with React/TypeScript front-ends and data solutions on SQL Server, while supporting cloud deployments.

This role emphasizes secure development, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker-based environments. You will collaborate with ERP/shop-floor systems and work on on-site projects in a dynamic team setting.

Qualifications

• 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience in Azure and AWS.
• Experience building and maintaining Docker images and containers.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Agile software development.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems or shop floor equipment.
• Knowledge of PLC and microcontroller systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user specifications and business requirements to design, develop, test, deploy, and support critical business applications.
• Develop backend functionality, services, and integrations using C# and .NET.
• Build frontend applications and components using React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Design and maintain SQL queries and data solutions with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Develop, deploy, monitor, and support cloud-based apps on Azure and AWS.
• Create and maintain Docker images, containers, and deployment configs.
• Provide second-level support for application, integration, database, ERP, and shop floor issues.
• Document code, configurations, and support procedures.
