Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a seasoned Full Stack .NET Developer to design and deliver enterprise-scale web applications for workplace and retirement services. You’ll work on-site in Southlake, TX and Austin, TX, collaborating with engineers and product partners to drive technical direction and high-quality solutions.

You bring 6+ years of full-stack experience with C#, .NET Core, Angular/TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and SQL.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Design and develop full-stack web apps with modern practices.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core for backend services.
• Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for accessible UI.
• Experience building SPAs with Angular and TypeScript.
• Design, create, and consume RESTful APIs.
• Relational databases and SQL experience.
• Unit testing practices to improve quality and reliability.
• Secure app design including auth concepts.
• Clear communication across teams.

What you have

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in full-stack web application development; BS/MS degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to design and develop full-stack web applications using modern development practices
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core for building scalable backend services
• Strong capability with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to deliver responsive, accessible user experiences
• Experience building single-page applications using modern client-side frameworks such as Angular and TypeScript
• Ability to design, create, and consume RESTful APIs
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including integrating backend services with data stores
• Experience applying unit testing practices and patterns to improve code quality and reliability
• Understanding of secure application design, including authentication and authorization concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience modernizing legacy applications while maintaining stability and performance
• Familiarity with performance evaluation, tuning, and observability in distributed systems
• Experience with web accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum-based development environments
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and practices

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
