Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and support full-stack web applications across web, mobile, and desktop platforms. You’ll build reliable, scalable solutions using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Angular, C#, and .NET to help clients engage with Schwab.

You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA partners to translate business and technical requirements into valuable client experiences, with an emphasis on code quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of full-stack web development experience.
• Experience developing .NET web applications and services using C#.
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, and client-side frameworks.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience creating and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience developing responsive, single-page web applications.

The Client Experience Technology team develops and maintains Schwab’s primary digital channels, creating seamless experiences across web, mobile, and downloadable platforms. As a Software Engineer, you will help deliver reliable, scalable web applications that make it easier for clients to engage with Schwab.

You will design, develop, test, and support full-stack solutions using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Angular, C#, and .NET technologies. You will solve application issues, evaluate technical options, contribute to implementation decisions, and strengthen quality through code reviews, unit testing, automated delivery, and production support.

Working with developers, technical leads, product owners, and quality assurance partners, you will turn business and technical requirements into valuable client experiences. Success requires thoughtful problem-solving, sound decision-making, effective collaboration across locations and time zones, and adaptability as technologies and priorities evolve.

What you have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of full-stack web development experience
• Experience developing .NET web applications and services using C#
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, and client-side frameworks
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience creating and consuming REST APIs
• Experience developing responsive, single-page web applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying unit testing patterns and TDD or BDD methodologies
• Knowledge of Agile fundamentals and experience contributing within a Scrum-based delivery team
• Ability to analyze complex application issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement sustainable solutions
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and quality assurance teams
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, and distributed working environments
• Experience with web content management systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience contributing to code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, or production support

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
