Job summary

SherlockTalent is seeking a Mid Java Developer in a contract role (12 months with option to extend) in Doral, FL. You will develop full‑stack Java applications, work with OO concepts, and implement REST/SOAP services, SQL queries, and web front‑end integration.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience, Java 8, Spring 3/4, and experience with Tomcat, JUnit, and Git/SVN. You will contribute to design documents and adhere to the SDLC while communicating effectively with teammates.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in CS or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience recommended.
• Strong understanding of OO design and multi‑tier architectures.
• Experience with Java 8 and REST/SOAP web services.

Responsibilities

• Document system design solutions.
• Source code using standard requirements.
• Develop and maintain quality software meeting timelines.
• Collaborate with QA to fix issues and verify fixes.
• Participate in team meetings and follow SDLC guidelines.
