Job summary

Seneca Resources seeks a Full Stack IT Developer in Vienna, VA to design and implement new or modify existing systems. This role is onsite three days a week with hands-on responsibilities across front-end and back-end development.

Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, coding, testing, and maintaining systems, plus collaborating with ISD teams and customers to deliver cost-effective IT solutions.

Qualifications

5-10 years distributed application programming experience in Java/J2EE and related tech.
Solid understanding of Java Web Services including WSDL, SOAP, XML and RESTful APIs.
Relational databases such as DB2, SQL Server, or Oracle; familiarity with mainframe systems.
Knowledge of data migration and mapping to cloud solutions; experience with SFTP and data file transfers.
Experience with automated testing frameworks; ability to lead and contribute to testing efforts.

Responsibilities

Identifies, analyzes, designs, and maintains IT solutions aligned with business goals.
Designs, develops, implements, tests, and maintains systems with team support.
Provides ongoing maintenance, documentation, and technical support to customers.
Collaborates with software developers and SQA analysts and participates in training.
