Carnegie Mellon University’s SEI invites students to join the Cyber Mission Readiness Directorate (CERT) for an internship in Pittsburgh. You will collaborate with software and learning engineers to develop features for open-source web applications used in cyber training and assessments.

You will write automated tests and help identify defects before live events, while adding xAPI tracking and AI-assisted features. The internship starts Fall 2026 with potential continuation through Spring 2027.

Qualificações

• Enrolled in a degree granting program.
• Willingness to travel to SEI/CMU locations.
• Background check required and eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Implement features and fixes in web application front ends and APIs.
• Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Instrument applications for xAPI and integrate AI-assisted features.
• Write documentation and demonstrate work to the team.
