Job summary

Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT) in Colorado seeks a Developer II to design, develop, test, and support modern full-stack applications delivering reliable services to Coloradans. The role spans frontend and backend, with React/TypeScript, Angular, Node.js/NestJS, and cloud work across AWS services.

The ideal candidate will implement state management with React Query and Redux Toolkit, write tests with Jest, and work with SQL Server and OpenAPI docs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of hands-on programming experience in application development, including 2 years developing applications in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience applying digital accessibility regulations and standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) to business processes, content, tools, and/or documents, with the ability to provide specific examples of accessibility improvements made.
• Develop backend APIs and services using Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Fastify, and TypeORM.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and work with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.

• Implement input validation with Zod and TypeScript.
• Develop serverless apps with AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Monitor logs with CloudWatch.
