Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Overview

Ensure operational criteria like system availability, capacity, performance, monitoring, self-healing, and deployment automation are implemented throughout the delivery process. Play a key role in leading the DevOps transformation through our tooling and by being an advocate for change and standards throughout the development, quality, release, and product organizations.

Focus on risk management by tying all our activities together with an overarching responsibility for compliance and risk mitigation across all our environments. Streamlining and standardizing traditional application specific support activities and centralizing points of interaction for both internal and external partners by communicating effectively with all key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the operations support, maintenance or monitoring of IT security policies, standards, and best practices
  • Implements principles and standards, performs support activities to keep supported program systems running properly, and manages supported systems to stay in compliance
  • May manage smaller project/initiatives as an experienced individual contributor with specialized knowledge within assigned discipline
  • First responder to system events triggered by detection tools, documenting knowledge on existing issues, escalating significant issues, and addressing minor ones according to procedures. Raises suggestions for improvement to senior employees
  • Participate in the operational deployment and subsequent support of new services or improvements
  • Under general supervision, develops program standards and procedures as guided by BizOps principles
  • Intermediate level of technical platforms
  • Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
  • Analyze ITSM activities of the platform and provide feedback loop to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns
  • Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, capacity planning and launch reviews.
  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
