Overview

Booz Allen is building a next‑generation end‑to‑end platform for development, testing, and production workloads to accelerate secure software development. We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join the team and work in a professional services role with engineering teams to adopt our platform.

Responsibilities

• Work with current and new software development teams to understand their architecture and development environment tooling and to develop onboarding paths to our platform.
• Assist teams with migration challenges and help solve problems using the platform.
• Translate customer needs and provide guidance on best‑practice use of the platform in a fast‑paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience, including Typescript, Golang, or Python.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS.
• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD and developer workflow automation, including GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Flux.
• 4+ years of experience with containerization and deployments using Docker.
• 4+ years of experience with databases such as MySQL or Postgres.
• 4+ years of experience with infrastructure as code tools, including Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
• 4+ years of experience using APM and monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, New Relic, or Grafana.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate prototyping features (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or WindSurf).
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building developer platforms.
• Experience creating technical documentation for engineers.
• Experience with AWS services including DynamoDB, EC2, EKS, SQS, SNS, and RDS.
• Experience troubleshooting application code and configurations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering teams.

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 annualized USD. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package.
