AWS Full Stack Engineer

As a full stack developer, you will resolve problems with end‑to‑end solutions in a fast, agile environment. If you want to not just develop software but create systems that make a difference, we need you on our team. You’ll develop software and systems from vision to production‑ready, mastering new tools and techniques, identifying needed system improvements, and ensuring solutions consider architecture, operating environment, and future enhancements.

The Opportunity

In this senior full‑stack role at Booz Allen, you’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. Your work will influence the entire lifecycle—from concept to operations and maintenance—making sure that the solutions you build are scalable, secure, and ready for future enhancements.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with UI and UX, including front‑end frameworks such as React or Vue
• 5+ years of experience with back‑end development, including back‑end languages such as Java, Python, GO, SQL, or C++, and front‑end languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise application development
• 2+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud‑native architecture patterns, including ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, and network security
• 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation
• Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS, and container orchestration
• Experience developing and deploying production applications from concept to operations and maintenance (O & M)
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS, and container orchestration
• 3+ years of experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation
• Experience with database administration and optimization, including MongoDB
• Experience with serverless architecture such as API Gateway
• Experience leading technical initiatives in large‑scale environments
• Experience with system design, with focus on scalability and reliability
• Experience developing Geospatial UIs, implementing DevOps mechanisms for projects, and designing and implementing UI for artificial intelligence or machine learning applications
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
• AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer Certification
• IAT Level II+ Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certification

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary for this position is determined by experience, education, and other factors and ranges from $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible for our benefit programs.
