iCapital Network is seeking a Full Stack Engineer (Assistant Vice President) in New York, NY. You will own end-to-end feature work across React and Ruby on Rails, collaborating with product management to refine requirements and drive quality through code reviews and testing.

The role emphasizes architectural participation, technical leadership, and the ability to work both independently and in a team within an Agile environment. Office-first with Friday remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.
• 3+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with modern JS frameworks such as React.
• 2+ years of front end and back-end test automation development (RSpec/Cucumber).
• Relational database concepts and modeling knowledge.

Full Stack Engineer, Ruby on Rails - Assistant Vice President

About the Role

The Full Stack Engineer at iCapital will work end-to-end on new features, enhancements, and defect resolution on one or more of iCapital's software platforms. You will work closely with our Product Management team throughout the software development process, detailing requirements, reviewing work in progress, and addressing issues found in manual test efforts.

Responsibilities

• Web application development in React as front end and Ruby on Rails as a backend.
• Strong grasp of system design, architecture, and trade-offs. Able to mentor junior engineers effectively.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design.
• Active participation in daily stand-up meetings
• Active participation in Peer Code Reviews as part of our standard SDLC and Change

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years software engineering experiencebuildingenterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions
• 3+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with modern JS frameworks such as React

The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $160,000 depending on level. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
