Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned software engineer to build secure, scalable web applications using React.js/Next.js and Python. You will design backend services, APIs, and microservices, and deploy them on Microsoft Azure.

You will own CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, collaborate across product and design teams, ensure code quality through reviews and automated tests, and troubleshoot performance across the full stack.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Software Engineering with equivalent education and at least 8 years of experience.
Experience with major production systems delivering services to internal and external clients.
Ability to identify and resolve organizational, operational, or process problems.
Knowledge of application design deliverables and how to run applications in production.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain secure, scalable web applications using React.js/Next.js and Python.
Design and implement backend services, APIs, and microservices for performance and reliability.
Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure (Azure Functions, App Services).
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver new features.
Ensure code quality through version control, code reviews, and automated testing.
Troubleshoot and optimize full-stack performance.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and contribute to business value.
