Job description

Kunai builds full-stack technology solutions for banks, credit and payment networks, infrastructure providers, and their customers. Kunai is launching a set of new development teams to work on one of the most advanced data-driven decision systems in the banking industry. We will be creating real-time customer experiences and services that will determine the creditworthiness of applicants and decision customers on new credit card products at a partner bank.

We are looking for experienced Software Engineers with expertise in Golang and React.js to add new features to a card tech decisioning platform. You will build out customer acquisition experiences, backend services supporting decisioning microservices, and UIs for internal purposes. These teams will have full ownership to plan their work, break down user stories, build features, deploy to production, and support services. These are always-on systems that require high resilience and stability with 99.99% uptime.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of total engineering experience
2. 2+ years working with Golang as a primary language
3. Expertise with microservices architecture and distributed systems
4. 1+ years working with React in a production environment
5. Experience with real-time, high-resiliency systems
6. Experience working with various AWS services, including Lambdas

Nice to have:

1. Previous experience in Python or Java
2. Experience with AuroraDB
3. Hands-on work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
4. Prior experience with serverless architecture
5. Financial services experience, in a startup or large corporation

Salary Range: $120,000 - $205,000 annually

This range reflects the base salary we expect to pay for Specialist Consultants. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, location, and client billing.
