Job summary

NS2 Mission is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to support a project in Chantilly, VA. You will collaborate with a lead developer to enhance and maintain mission-critical applications across backend services, APIs, and responsive front-ends.

The role emphasizes building scalable solutions and solving complex technical challenges in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of Python development experience with Flask, Django, or FastAPI, strong SQL/ORM skills, and front-end

Qualifications

5-7 years of Python development experience.
Experience with Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
Experience writing unit and integration tests.
Working knowledge of SQL and ORM (SQLAlchemy).
Front-end development with JavaScript/TypeScript/CSS.
Experience with React/Angular/Vue frameworks.
Experience deploying containerized apps in AWS.
TS/SCI clearance with an FSP required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software applications for mission objectives.
Collaborate with the lead developer to implement and enhance features.
Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Python.
Build responsive UIs using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks.
Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and external systems.
Develop and run unit and integration tests to ensure quality.
Deploy and support containerized apps in AWS cloud environments.
Participate in code reviews and Agile development activities.
