Job summary

NS2 Mission in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to support a mission-critical project. You'll collaborate with a lead developer to design, build, and maintain applications spanning backend services, APIs, and front-end interfaces using Python and modern JS frameworks.

You will develop RESTful APIs, write tests, deploy containerized apps on AWS, and participate in code reviews in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience developing applications with Python.
• Hands-on experience with Python web frameworks (Flask, Django, or FastAPI).
• Experience developing unit and integration tests.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including ORM technologies.
• Experience developing front-end applications with JavaScript/TypeScript/CSS.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Experience deploying containerized applications in AWS.

• Experience building, deploying, and supporting containerized applications in AWS cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration technologies.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional technical teams.
