Job summary

Photon is seeking a software professional to advance REST API development using Node.js and TypeScript. The role emphasizes CI/CD, QA automation, and strong debugging skills. Experience with AI tools for development, including Copilot, is a plus.

Collaboration with engineering to ensure production readiness is key. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of TypeScript experience and familiarity with GitHub, Sonar, Jenkins, Datadog, and Splunk, and will participate in onboarding flow validation

Qualifications

• Proficient in REST API development with Node.js, with NestJS as a plus.
• 5-7 years of TypeScript experience and familiarity with GitHub, Sonar, Jenkins, Datadog, and Splunk.
• Experience using AI for day-to-day development; Copilot and agentic AI are a plus.
• Proficient in coding, unit testing, QA automation, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with system configuration, API subscription workflows, and release management.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and end-to-end validation of onboarding flows.
• Familiarity with test-case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering to validate integrations for production readiness.

• Proficient in REST API development with Node.js, with recent experience in the last 1-2 years. Experience with NestJS is a plus.
