Job summary

Photon is seeking a Java Fullstack Engineer to join our Digital Engineering team in Plano, TX. You will drive frontend development in Angular and contribute to robust backend services using Java/Spring Boot with microservices.

You will collaborate across teams, implement RESTful APIs, ensure security and accessibility, and participate in testing and optimization. 4+ years of hands-on experience in both frontend and backend stacks is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot with microservices experience.
• Strong Angular frontend experience (Angular 10+), TypeScript, and RxJS.
• Experience with REST APIs and SQL databases.
• Fraud prevention experience is mandatory.

About the Role: Java Fullstack Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Frontend: Angular (Mandatory): Strong hands-on experience in Angular development, including Angular 10+ versions, TypeScript, components, services, directives, pipes, routing, reactive forms, dependency injection, and state management.
• Angular Ecosystem: Experience with NgRx, RxJS, Angular Material, and integration of Angular applications with RESTful APIs.
• Frontend Architecture: Understanding of component-based architecture, performance optimization, lazy loading, module federation, and frontend security best practices.
• Accessibility & Testing: Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG), unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine/Karma, and end-to-end testing tools.

Required Skills:

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, SQL, Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, Fraud Prevention Experience (Mandatory)
