Job summary

Photon is hiring a Fullstack Developer (NodeJS/Angular or React) to join our Digital Engineering team onsite in Dallas, TX. You will architect REST APIs and build frontend configurations using modern frameworks.

You will work across backend services, frontend dashboards, and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, while leveraging Splunk and Datadog for observability to ensure production readiness across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in REST API development with Node.js; NestJS is a plus.
• 5-7 years of TypeScript experience; familiarity with GitHub, Sonar, Jenkins, Datadog, and Splunk.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot and agentic AI) is a plus.
• Strong skills in unit testing, QA automation, and CI/CD practices.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer In this role, you will architect resilient enterprise REST APIs utilizing, while simultaneously building and refining clean, intuitive frontend system configurations using NodeJS with Angular or React.

What will you do?

• Backend Engineering & API Design: Design, build, test, and maintain highly secure and scalable RESTful web services.
• Frontend UI & Configuration: Develop and refine clear, highly interactive web components and configuration dashboards within single-page applications using Angular, ensuring a seamless interface for handling technical settings.
• Integration & Onboarding Orchestration: Lead the technical validation and end-to-end verification of customer and vendor onboarding pipelines, ensuring absolute reliability and zero-fault data flow across integrated applications.
• Workflow & Release Management: Manage deep system configurations, handling structured workflows for API subscription lifecycles, access provisioning, and coordinated software release management across multiple runtime environments.
• DevSecOps & CI/CD Pipeline Management: Establish and optimize continuous delivery pipelines utilizing Jenkins, ensuring that strict code-coverage and automated quality gates are met via Sonar metrics before pushing changes to GitHub.
• Observability & Troubleshooting: Perform advanced debugging and root-cause analysis on highly complex system environments. Leverage logs and application performance metrics in Splunk and Datadog to proactively diagnose and resolve errors.
• Comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA): Collaborate closely with independent engineering squads to validate third-party integrations. Create detailed functional test matrices, automate critical path regression test scenarios, and manage structural defect tracking to guarantee absolute production readiness.

What are we looking for?

• Proficient in REST API development with Node.js, with recent experience in the last 1-2 years. Experience with NestJS is a plus.
• 5-7 years of Typescript experience, Github, Sonar, Jenkins, Datadog, Splunk
• Experience working with AI for day to day development, copilot is a plus, and agentic AI is a plus.
• Proficient in coding, unit test, QA automation, CI/CD
• Familiarity with system configuration, API subscription workflows, and release management.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Technical proficiency in performing QA testing and end-to-end validation of onboarding flows.
• Familiarity with test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering to validate integration and ensure readiness for production.
