Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking a Full Stack Engineer (Application Software) to own and deliver mission-critical software across SpaceX operations, Starlink platforms, and Starship manufacturing software.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications, collaborating across teams to meet demanding launch cadence and product goals, with production-grade quality and performance optimizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional software in lieu of a degree.
• 1+ years of full stack development experience.
• Programming in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar OO language.
• 1+ years building single page web applications.
• Experience with version control, CI/CD concepts.
• Experience with UNIX-like systems and Terraform/Ansible/Puppet.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX.
• Create new applications to improve SpaceX operations.
• Build prototypes to prove design concepts and constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Deep dive into users' problems to craft efficient solutions.
• Contribute in architecture, design, and code reviews.
