Job summary

IEX/GDIT seeks a Full Stack Engineer/Developer to support SOCCENT at MacDill AFB, FL. You will design and maintain data-driven backend systems and APIs to enable secure, high-performance search and analytics capabilities.

The role requires React/JS frontend development with Python backend, DevSecOps practices, and on-site collaboration. US citizens only; 5 days on-site in Florida.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Current DoW TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Experience: 5-8 years of related full stack development.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Certifications: None required; familiarity with AWS, Docker, and DevSecOps tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Full Stack Engineer/Developer will supportDefense & Intelligence Programs at Special Operations Command-Central (SOCCENT) located at MacDill AFB, FL.

JOB DUTIES (INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)

• Assist in designing and maintaining data-driven backend systems supporting secure, high-performance search and analytics missions.
• Support development of backend services for data ingestion and retrieval, and help build APIs and microservices using Flask or FastAPI.
• Contribute to DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, Docker containerization, and infrastructure-as-code while assisting with EDA on CAI/PAI datasets.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript React and Python.
• Proficient in Flask or FastAPI and familiar with relational/non-relational databases including Postgres and Elasticsearch.
• Proficient with Git, SQLAlchemy, and basic CI/CD pipeline support.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
