You will join a hands-on team that values architectural judgment and user-centered design, with opportunities to redesign core systems as the product grows.

The role emphasizes rapid iteration, collaboration across teams, cloud infrastructure oversight, and open-source contributions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2-3+ years experience building and maintaining software systems.
• Interest in working with content-heavy or knowledge-based platforms (publishing systems, large docs sites, user-generated content).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and maintenance of The Stacks backend, frontend, data models, and integrations.
• Implement high-quality user interfaces and experiences with modern web tech.
• Build APIs and services for content-management.
• Collaborate with team to iterate features based on feedback.
• Maintain cloud infrastructure with high availability andObservability.
• Follow best practices including CI/CD, testing, and documentation.
• Support post-launch improvements including bug fixes and performance.
