Job summary

Delan Associates, Inc. seeks a Full Stack Engineer II to join a high-performing technology team in Charlotte, NC.

You will build and enhance modern web applications with React.js and TypeScript, and backend services using Java with Spring Boot, with Kotlin exposure a plus. You will contribute to RESTful APIs, microservices, and NoSQL data stores like MongoDB while collaborating with product owners, architects, and designers to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend development.
• Strong experience developing backend applications using Java, preferably with Spring Boot.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications using React.js and TypeScript.
• Build and support scalable backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot).
• Contribute to and maintain services written in Kotlin where applicable.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, to support application data requirements.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and engineering teams to deliver business solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Contribute to application architecture, technical design discussions, and technology decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve efficiency while maintaining code quality and engineering standards.
