Job summary

Tential Solutions is seeking a mid to senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join a four-person Scrum team and modernize a legacy system by migrating from Struts to Spring Boot microservices. You will work remotely within the US on Angular micro-frontends and backend services, collaborating with a Product Owner, BA, and developers in an Agile/Scrum setup.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of full stack software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Experience with Oracle/SQL or similar relational database platforms.
• Experience designing and working within microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Angular, ideally within a micro-frontend architecture.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a Scrum/Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support full stack applications spanning backend services and frontend interfaces.
• Contribute to ongoing modernization efforts, working across both legacy Struts-based systems and newer Spring Boot microservices.
• Build and maintain Angular applications within a micro-frontend architecture.
• Collaborate closely with a Product Owner, Business Analyst, and fellow developers within an Agile/Scrum team.
• Participate actively in sprint planning, code reviews, and day-to-day delivery.
• Leverage AI‑assisted productivity tools to support and accelerate development workflows.
