Job summary

IMEG is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer in Las Vegas, NV to support software design, coding, and internal system development as part of the company's development team. This role requires strong programming knowledge, OOP fundamentals, and the ability to learn new technology quickly.

You'll contribute to development meetings, monitor internal systems, resolve bugs, and help advance internal software solutions while building your coding and design skills in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or CIS preferred or equivalent work experience in related field required.
• 3+ years of programming experience in a team environment.
• Knowledge of basic coding languages including C#, HTML5, and JavaScript.
• Jira, Git, Github, Team Foundation Server or other code management platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Development Manager with software design and coding activities
• Attend and contribute to company development meetings
• Learn the codebase and consistently improve coding skills
• Recognize common coding challenges and apply design patterns to solutions
• Write and maintain reusable and maintainable code
• Learn new frameworks and programming techniques
• Address minor to complex bug fixes
• Monitor the technical performance of internal systems
• Respond to requests from the development team
• Conduct development tests and write unit tests
• Perform other duties as assigned
