Job summary

RCS Worldwide, a global leader in broadcast software, seeks a talented full stack developer to build next-gen programming, playout, and content delivery systems for radio and streaming. You will design, develop, test, and deploy web apps and APIs running in cloud and edge environments, collaborating with the tech lead and engineering manager in a fast-paced Agile setting.

Strong React/Node.js skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in front end, back end, or full stack web development within Agile QA practices.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience building UIs with React.
• Experience with AWS serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, SQS).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (CDK).
• Experience with monitoring (CloudWatch) and NoSQL/SQL databases (MongoDB/Postgres).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship high-quality software components with a focus on reuse, testing, and automation.
• Build new features and enhancements for existing products across the stack.
• Write, test, and deploy React front ends and Node.js/TypeScript back ends.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs with architects.
• Deliver software with minimal defects and troubleshoot issues quickly.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for smooth releases.
• Support and troubleshoot code on edge devices deployed in the field.
• Monitor system health with dashboards and alerting to prevent problems.
