Job summary

RCS Worldwide is seeking a self-motivated software engineer to design, build, test, and maintain web apps and APIs that run in the cloud, on the edge, and everywhere in-between. You will work with a tech lead and Manager of Software Engineering to deliver high-quality software on aggressive timelines.

You will write React front ends and Node.js/TypeScript back ends, leverage AWS serverless services, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full stack web development with Agile and QA practices.
• Strong hands-on with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience building UIs with React.
• Experience with AWS serverless architectures.
• Experience with NoSQL and relational databases.
• Excellent communication and independent as well as team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship high-quality software components using OO patterns and test automation.
• Build new features for existing products, from intermediate to complex scope.
• Write, test, and deploy React front ends and Node.js/TypeScript back ends and serverless infra.
• Work with Architects to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Deliver software with minimal defects and troubleshoot issues quickly.
• Estimate effort and contribute to planning for new features.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth releases.
• Support and troubleshoot code on edge devices deployed in the field.
• Use monitoring, dashboards to keep system health.
