Job summary

Piada Group is seeking a Software Engineer at the Piada Support Center in Columbus, Ohio. This non-remote role requires on-site presence Monday through Friday with standard business hours and requires residency in the Columbus area.

You will develop and maintain Piada's sites, internal analytics dashboards, and point-of-sale systems, while also maintaining menu management systems and partnering with internal teams to solve business problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of full-stack development experience with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, C#, Linux server maintenance.
• Strong communication and ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Night and weekend availability to assist stores with troubleshooting and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of online, mobile, and internal software platforms.
• Collaborates with other departments to develop solutions and create integrations between platforms.
• Manages user accounts in cloud-based software.
• Maintains and updates menu items as menu changes.
• Supports stores with point-of-sale issues.
• Responds to guest questions regarding online ordering, gift cards, Piada Rewards, and other inquiries.
• Provides timelines and roadmaps for development projects and tech initiatives.
• Maintains relationships with software vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.
