Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a senior full‑stack engineer to help scale Codex adoption across enterprises. You will own frontend and backend work, build onboarding and discovery experiences, and create surfaces that showcase Codex capabilities through plugins, templates, and integrations.

You will partner with product, design, research, and customers to identify adoption blockers, run experiments, and translate real‑world challenges into scalable product capabilities that accelerate value delivery for

Qualifications

Experience delivering production-grade web apps with strong UI and UX.
Proven ability to ship end-to-end features across frontend and backend.
Experience building onboarding and activation experiences for users.
Comfort with data-driven decision making and experiments.

Responsibilities

Build onboarding, setup, and discovery experiences to connect Codex to repos and workflows.
Create product surfaces to help users discover Codex capabilities such as plugins and templates.
Develop full-stack systems across web, IDEs, CLI and integrations with strong UX.
Partner with product and design to run experiments and iterate on adoption funnels.
Collaborate with customers, GTM, and Forward Deployed teams to translate adoption challenges into scalable features.
Define onboarding and activation metrics and ensure UX remains intuitive.
