Job summary

Ovative Group is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our product and engineering team. You will design, build, and deploy scalable software and data solutions, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business goals into technical requirements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of web app development, experience with cloud platforms, front-end and back-end technologies, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant web application development experience.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Proficient in front-end languages: HTML/CSS, XML, JavaScript.
• Proficient in one or more backend languages, API frameworks, and servers.
• Experience with common frontend JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience building and deploying containerized application code.
• Experience collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to understand project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
• Contribute to automation opportunities to improve operational stability of software applications and systems.
• Collaborate with the team to translate business goals and user requirements into detailed technical requirements.
• Contribute to documentation and technical requirements, including software designs and test results.
• Create and maintain robust, performant solutions with high customer impact at scale.
• Provide technical assistance to teammates as needed through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Follow SDLC and DevOps best practices, including quality, deployment, and testing.
• Explore new technologies and tools under guidance to enhance software development.
• Troubleshoot software issues with support from senior team members.
• Participate in technical knowledge sharing with other team members.
• Stay current with emerging technology and software engineering innovations.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to explore solution options and improve development velocity while maintaining quality.
