Job summary

Cassidy in New York is seeking a highly autonomous software engineer to own design and implementation of core features and infrastructure across the stack. You will work on intuitive interfaces and AI automation tooling that empower non-technical users.

You will tackle LLM/RAG projects, shape core architecture, and collaborate closely with product and design. The role offers on-site collaboration in NYC and growth within a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of software development experience (at least 1 year full-stack).
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
• On-site in NYC 4–5 days/week, collaborative environment.
• Proactive, self-motivated with strong communication.
• Experience in a typed environment (TypeScript) with Node.js/React/PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive interfaces across Node, React, and Postgres (TypeScript).
• Contribute to AI projects including LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
• Shape core architecture for reliability and scalability.
• Iterate with product and design to ship high-impact features.
