Job summary

Swoon is actively hiring a Fullstack Developer to join the team in Newport News, VA. This role focuses on building full-stack web and mobile applications, integrating with fintech platforms, and delivering secure, scalable solutions.

You'll collaborate with Digital Banking, IT, Operations, Marketing and external vendors. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of web app development, strong API experience, and a commitment to high-quality code and testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of web app development experience with at least 1 year in full-stack roles.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and fintech integrations.
• Experience with Git and automated tests to ensure code quality.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to deliver secure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web, mobile, and internal applications.
• Design and support integrations with fintech platforms via APIs and SDKs.
• Write, test, debug, and optimize frontend, backend, middleware, and databases.
• Collaborate with Digital Banking, IT, Operations, Marketing and vendors to deliver new features.
• Build RESTful APIs and database queries for data exchange.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and secure software development lifecycle.
