Job summary

Vantor is hiring an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and sustain data analytics applications for a large-scale U.S. Government platform.

You will develop user-facing apps, backend services, and APIs enabling exploration, visualization, and analysis of complex datasets. You’ll collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and government stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure software.

Qualifications

• : Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance (and willingness to obtain a CI poly).
• : Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical field with 8+ years of total professional experience in a technical support role
• : Demonstrated experience in full-stack software development, web application engineering, or a related software engineering discipline
• : Strong proficiency in modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js, and experience developing responsive, interactive web applications
• : Proficiency in at least one back-end programming language, such as Python, Java, Go, or C#, with experience developing RESTful APIs, integrating databases, and building server-side applications
• : Experience developing data-driven applications and integrating structured data, analytical services, and visualization capabilities
• : Willingness to work onsite 75% (or as needs dictate) from either Herndon, VA or Westminster, CO

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Application Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain interactive web applications and supporting back-end services.
• Data Analytics Application Integration: Integrate data sources, analytical models, data processing services, and APIs into user-facing applications.
• Data Visualization and User Experience: Develop interactive dashboards, visualizations, search interfaces, and analytical tools.
• Back-End Services and API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integrations.
• Agile Development and Platform Integration: Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to implement capabilities and support CI/CD and deployments.
