Job summary

Northramp LLC is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to build, enhance, and support cloud-hosted enterprise applications for a major federal modernization program. You will work with engineers, cloud architects, data engineers, DevSecOps, product owners, QA, and security teams in an Agile environment.

The role is primarily remote and supports a federal program in the Washington, DC area. Candidates must reside in Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, DC and be available for occasional onsite

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience, including enterprise applications.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA).
• Experience building RESTful APIs, event-driven services, and microservices-based architectures.
• Hands-on front-end development experience with Angular and/or React.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Understanding of application security, federal compliance, and identity federation.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, automated testing, and SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable cloud-native enterprise applications.
• Build backend services, RESTful APIs, and front-end apps using modern frameworks.
• Develop and maintain microservices and containerized workloads.
• Integrate applications with Google Cloud Platform and enterprise cloud services.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, data engineers, and DevSecOps teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Support authentication and authorization via Okta, OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and program increments.
• Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
