Job summary

MetaPhase is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our Reston, VA team supporting a cloud-native web application. You will design, develop, and enhance a mission-critical system using React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, and AWS services.

A product-minded engineer comfortable across the full stack will help build scalable SPAs, secure back-end services, and modern cloud infrastructure while leveraging AI-enabled development tools responsibly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, including full stack web development.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Strong experience building modern web apps with React and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers, product owners, and end users to understand needs and translate them into requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn visions into features, stories, and API designs.
• Lead front-end components, state management, routing, and responsive UI approaches.
• Develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Apply TDD and automated testing across unit, integration, and API tests.
• Support product demos, UAT, releases, and post-release validation.
