Job summary

San Francisco-based company seeks a backend-leaning, full-stack engineer to build infrastructure that improves reliability of AI agents in production. This role blends hands-on product engineering with customer insight to shape investigation, evaluation, and debugging workflows.

You will design APIs, data models, and platforms, collaborate with AI teams, and ship end-to-end features using React/Next.js, TypeScript, and Python or Node.js. On-site in San Francisco with visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of full-stack product engineering experience.
• Experience shipping user-facing products end-to-end with frontend (React/Next.js) and backend.
• Strong skills in TypeScript and React, plus Python or Node.js; PostgreSQL familiarity.
• Ability to design APIs, model data, and debug production issues.
• Hands-on experience with AI agents, developer tools, or related platforms.
• A formal computer science degree or equivalent with solid software fundamentals.
• Experience working directly with customers to influence product decisions through engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Build product experiences for agent investigation, evaluation workflows, trajectory debugging, verification, and replay.
• Work with customers to understand agent failures, define product solutions, and iterate on shipped features.
• Develop APIs, data models, internal systems, and user-facing product surfaces across the stack.
• Build systems that run large-scale investigations across production traces.
• Design platform capabilities such as workspaces, permissions, billing, usage, SDKs, and terminal-first developer tools.
• Collaborate with AI teams building production agents and turn their feedback into product decisions.
