Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is hiring a versatile Full Stack Software Engineer in New York. You will work across the full stack, from data and services to the user experience, owning problems from idea to production.

A strong focus on AI-enabled development and tooling will be expected as part of the role. The position emphasizes delivering maintainable software, building RESTful APIs, and collaborating in an agile environment with independence and team-oriented growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, testing, debugging, clean design.
• Proficiency with a modern frontend framework and web technologies: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Experience building backend services and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle or PostgreSQL).
• Ability to write automated tests and review AI-generated code.
• Recent experience using AI development tools and evaluating AI model options.

Responsabilités

• Design and build thoroughly tested, efficient, maintainable software across the full stack.
• Own features from concept through production and support.
• Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and services.
• Contribute to shared component and testing frameworks.
• Use AI tools to accelerate implementation, testing, refactoring, and documentation while maintaining quality.
• Review AI-generated code with rigor and set conventions/guardrails.
• Select AI models balancing cost and capability for tasks.
• Create and maintain software documentation.
• Prepare and release software components.
• Build wireframes and prototypes to validate ideas quickly.
• Provide support throughout the software delivery process, including beyond business hours.
