Job summary

Randstad Digital is seeking a seasoned software engineer to drive DevOps-enabled web solutions in a contract role at Westlake, Texas. You will oversee CI/CD, testing, deployment, and cloud practices, collaborating with an agile team to deliver robust web applications.

Your background includes server-side Java EE/Spring Boot, client-side Angular/JavaScript, and experience with orchestration tools like Apache Camel, plus familiarity with AI-assisted tooling and modern testing frameworks.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Comprehensive software engineering experience spanning more than 6 years; experience in financial services is an advantage.
• Extensive experience decomposing sophisticated business problems into creative, efficient, and scalable solutions.
• Robust critical thinking skills coupled with a desire for growth and learning.
• Experience communicating technical needs to non-technical team members.
• Proficiency in both server-side (e.g., Java EE, Spring Boot) and client-side (e.g., Angular 14+, JavaScript) technologies.
• Experience with enterprise application architecture and orchestration frameworks such as Apache Camel.

Job Summary

DevOps concepts governing SCM, continuous integration, monitoring, and deployment processes.

Client-side unit testing frameworks and test runners like Jasmine and Karma.

Docker containerization and AWS cloud deployment.

The W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines implementation.

GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.

Location and Job Details

Location: Westlake, Texas.

Job type: Contract.

Salary: $71 - 72 per hour.

Work hours: 8am to 5pm.

Education: Bachelors.
