Akina Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Engineer 3 in Annapolis Junction, MD to support TAO and ATPG customers, building and maintaining tools for operational mission success. You’ll work in a fast CI/CD cycle, interface with analysts, operators, and developers, and translate feedback into iterative improvements.

Responsibilities include dataflow engineering, expanding workflow automation, and developing web apps for analytics and workflow support, with strong emphasis on customer communication.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years of SWE experience in similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Four (4) years additional SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Description:

You will be supporting TAO and working alongside the ATPG customer to build and maintain tools that support the operational mission. You will be working as part of a team that identifies and provides solutions to resolve workflow inefficiencies and take advantage of opportunities to advance mission. Day to day, you will directly interact with customers and teammates, develop solutions iteratively within a fast CI/CD workflow, and operate on feedback from users in real time. You’ll directly interface with a diverse team of analysts, operators, and developers and see the impact of your work on a daily basis.

Position Required Skills

• Extensive experience with full stack development with an emphasis on web development.


• Experience with relational databases.


• Experience with customer cross-domain solutions.


• Experience soliciting and applying feedback.


• Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence).


• Experience with AI assisted development.

Nice to Haves

• Experience deploying and running open-source tools at the agency.


• Experience with Svelte, OpenTelemetry, or OpenObserve.


• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.


• Experience with dataflow engineering.


• Experience with cert-based cryptography.

SWE3 Qualifications

A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Salary Range: $241k-$295k (Annually)

The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
